I'm not usually a big fan of sports, nor am I a regular reader of Sports Illustrated magazine. However, I am always looking through magazines for great poses to draw, and I noticed that there are many beautiful photos to choose from in the latest swimsuit issue. I noticed that they also have a great selection of photos on their website that was not used in the magazine. Here's some that I thought might be good for practicing my fashion illustration drawing skills.
These Japanese kids from Style-arena not only know how to do scarves, but they also put together a great lyered look. I'm studying their technique, but I 'm afraid that if I tried to copy this look I would appear to weigh about 500 pounds. It helps to be young and skinny if you want to pull off this look!
I have several scarves that I never wear. The last couple of days, as I have been looking through the street fashion websites, I have been admiring how some people look really great in their neck scarves. Some people seem to have a talent for arranging multiple scarves in a way that looks really stylish. Here are some examples from The Sartorialist and Hel-Looks.
