Aren't these just adorable? Its getting really cold here and the weather here is so gray and gloomy in the winter, so I'm ready jazz up my style a little with these crazy hats.
I've been in the mood to look at wild and crazy hats lately, and so this collection, from style.com definitely caught my eye. I love the colors and the dresses are very cute. The hair and hats are a little too crazy, but I might be interested in wearing a normal size version of some of these! Anyway, its nice to know that some designers don't always take themselves too seriously.
I like almost everything by Marc Jacobs, but his Spring 2009 collection is really cute. I particularly love the patent leather flats with the lace up ankles. The bright colors are great and the shapes are breezy and carefree.
I'm glad that slightly baggy jeans are coming back in style. They look cute rolled up with some realy great shoes.
Today I see that Borders.com has gifts related to the Twilight movie. There are t-shirts with pictures of the characters and jewelry similar to that worn by the characters that has the Cullen family crest on it. I wonder what other vampire looks are going to be coming in style?
I'm looking forward to seeing the Twilight movie this weekend. I have read the entire book series and it was so good i could hardly put it down. It will be interesting to see if the characters look at all like I had imagined. The vampires are supposed to be realy good looking. According to the story, it is to attact their human prey. In the previews, I have seen plenty of pictures of Edward, but none of Jacob, who is a competing love interest in the book. I'm wondering if his role has been diminished for the movie version. Usually I'm disappointed in the movie if I've read the book. For example, I was realy disappointed in the movie Eragon, which was quite different from the book. On the other hand, the Harry Potter movies seemed to do a good job of capturing the characters pretty much as I imagined them.
Since this is a fashion blog, I would like to make a prediction. I predict that vampire hair and makeup will be big in the next few months. You read it here first!
Here's a cute idea. Some famous fashion designers designed Russian dolls to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Russian Vogue. Can you guess which desinger is which? Top is Versace, next is Oscar de la Renta, next is Ralph Lauren, and the white one is Antonio Marras.
The small one is by Gucci. These were some of my favorites, but you can see all 31 at the English Vogue website, www.vogue.co.uk.
