Love JCDC

You can't help but love a guy who has muppets and Andy Warhol featured on his clothing. This is JCDC from Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, the autumn/winter 09/10 collection from Paris Fashion Week. The line is described as " a pop-rock, playful, quality and affordable clothing line for a new generation. For more information, check out his web site at www.jc-de-castelbajac.com. Love it!

Rodarte Spring 2010

Rodarte consistently produces the best artsy clothes. This look is "goth" without looking like a Halloween costume. I love their originality.

Tabitha Simmons shoes

I love these shoes from designer Tabitha Simmons. They're little bit rock and roll, a little biker chick, but in a more sophisticasted way. These would like great with most of my fall wardrobe, which consists mostly of black, boot-cut jeans. (Photo from Style.com)

Marc Jacobs Spring 2010

How does Marc Jacobs continue to come up with such great styles season after season? I have been taking belly dance lessons for several months now and I love the costumes. I was interested to see that Marc Jacobs is using belly dance costumes for inspiration.

Here's a style I could try to make

When I was a kid back in the 60s and 70s we embellished our jeans. It would be a fun weekend project to do some embellishments like the ones shown here. Glad to see the look coming back and style. (photo from The Sartorialist)

I'm rooting for Adam Lambert to win "Idol"

Although Kris Allen seems like a good guy, I'm a big Adam Lambert fan. As it turns out, he's extremely good looking whether he's dressed as a man or a woman! I love his hair style and his black rocker look that he sports most of the time on Idol.

I love fun glasses

I probably have one of the largest collections of prescription eyeglasses of anyone in the world. I am extremely near-sighted and have worn glasses or contacts most of my life, so they have become a major part of my self-concept and image. I also like it that glasses symbolizes that a person is smart, educated and well-read (which I am). A few days ago, i got contact lenses, but I have to get several new pairs of glasses anyway, because I can't see to read or at midrange. Of course I also had to get some stylish new sunglasses.
