Dior Spring Couture 2011 fashions inspired by Fashion Illustrator

This collection by John Galliano was inspired by fashion illustrator Rene' Gruau, whose work for Christian Dior in the 1940's and 50's was the house's most iconic imagery.  I was also interested to find out that John Galliano originally studied fashion illustration at Central Saint Martin's.  These photos and information are from http://www.style.com.

Moschino Spring 2011: Campy? Not too much for me!

While some critics called this collection campy and over-the-top, I really like it.   The bright prints are beautiful.  The camisoles and jeans are something that I would love to wear.
